Day 1 – Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to your hotel. Arusha City, located in the northern highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, is the safari capital of the country. Guests embarking on the popular northern safari circuit all stop here to prepare for their journeys into the African bush. Established by the Germans as a centre for colonial administration in the early 20th century, today Arusha is one of the country’s most prosperous towns and a major centre of Tanzanian diplomacy and international relations – lending it its nickname, the ‘Geneva of Africa’. Overnight at Karibu Heritage House.

Day 2 – Tarangire NP

Breakfast at the lodge. Drive to Tarangire NP with packed lunch. Lunch inside the park. Tarangire offers some amazing chances of catching Tanzania’s wildlife! During your game drive, stay on the lookout for gazelles, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, olive baboons, lions, and much more! Be on the lookout for incredible bird varieties like yellow-collared lovebirds, hammerkops, plovers, and more! Seeing God’s diverse creation within their natural habitat is nothing short of breathtaking. In the evening drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Country Lodge.

Day 3 – Lake Eyasi

Today guests drive to the Lake Eyasi area, arriving in time for lunch at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge. Enjoy afternoon visit to a Datoga tribe, who are characteristically known for keeping to themselves and are a tribe of proud people and fierce warriors known for their stealth ability. They are skillful and are also known for their blacksmith skills, beads works, brass bracelets, and necklaces, while also supplying arrowheads to the Hadzabe tribe. Another cultural feature that distinguishes this tribe from other tribes is their decorative tattooing around their eyes in circular patterns. Dinner and overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge..

Day 4 – Lake Eyasi to Central Serengeti NP.

Guests receive a packed breakfast and then drive towards Hadzabe tribe who are considered one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa with approximately 1,300 tribe members. As a hunter-gatherer society, the Hadzabe have no domesticated livestock, nor do they grow or store their own food. The Hadzabe survive by hunting their food with hand-made bows and arrows and foraging for edible plants. The Hadzabe diet is primarily plant-based but also consists of meat, fat, and honey. They create temporary shelters of dried grass and branches, and they own few possessions. Afternoon drive to Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sound of Nature Tented Camp.

Day 5 – Serengeti National Park.

You can have a relaxed breakfast and depart for game drives around 9:00 AM with packed lunch or you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive. Later return to accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit before proceeding for another game drive. Return back to the camp for lunch. Relax a bit at the camp. Continue with game viewing drive with the chance to spot the legendary Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. As the animals roam freely across the vast, unfenced plains, you’ll enjoy a truly immersive and uninterrupted wildlife experience. Tanzania’s largest park, spanning over 14,000 square kilometers. The park boasts an incredible variety of landscapes, including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains. This is also the stage for the awe-inspiring Great Migration, where wildebeest, zebra, and antelope move in vast numbers in search of fresh grazing, an unforgettable spectacle, depending on the season of your visit. After an exhilarating game drive, you’ll head to your camp, where you’ll enjoy a delicious evening meal and unwind with an overnight stay. Day 6– Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast you will depart with picnic lunch boxes to Ngorongoro Crater. Situated some 190 km, west of Arusha between Lake Manyara and Serengeti National Parks and covers an area of over 8,000 sq. km. the Ngorongoro Crater at 2,286 meters above sea level is the highest unbroken crater in the world. Surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meters above the crater floor, this natural amphitheatre covers an area of about 260 sq. km and is home to unto 30,000 animals, almost half of them zebras and wildebeests. Such vast numbers attract predators a plenty, mainly lion and hyena but also cheetah and leopard. The Ngorongoro has been declared a World Heritage Site and is regarded as the eighth wonders of the world. Descend the steep walls into the UNESCO world heritage site of Ngorongoro Crater floor for game viewing drive. In the afternoon you will ascend the Crater floor and drive back to Karatu. The rest of afternoon spend at leisure to relax. Dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.

Day - 7 Depart

After breakfast, you will drive to Mto wa Mbu village for a morning village tour to get an opportunity to explore the daily life of the local villagers in Mto wa Mbu. Afterwards, you explore the Village by a Tuk Tuk, which is the common transport mode around the area. The Tuk Tuk Tour will give a broad chance to explore the village and interact with the local community fom inner parts around the area. Enjoy a local lunch served in a lovely banana plantation deep inside the village. Afternoon drive back to Arusha and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight.
